The monotonous work days are back! There’s really not much for me to do during school breaks. Woke up at 7:30am, had udon for breakfast, stopped by the convenience store again to buy today’s lunch, and then arrived at school. First thing in the morning, my JTE and I went to 6-1 and 5-2’s classrooms to install the new digital teaching materials. The computer said that it would take 5 HOURS to move all the files (these computers…) so we just left it there. It actually transferred faster than expected though, and they were both done within 2 hours, so I started the transfer for 6-2 and 5-1 as well. Spent the rest of the day sorting out cards, fixing the kids’ nametags (the string is too long so we can’t see their names cause the length of the string causes the tag to just goes under the desk!). Had lunch at around 12:45, and for some reason the staffroom was very empty, they must’ve all gone out for lunch. Thankfully the computers finished transferring everything by the end of the day (was a bit worried for a second there because one of the computers was showing “8 hours to go” when I first started the transfer). Got off work early at 15:30 since it’s spring break. Headed out again at 18:00 to go to Isesaki to have dinner with some ALT friends. We had dinner at a super nice soba restaurant, the serving sizes were pretty huge for soba!
