Monday

Woke up at 7:10am, had bread for breakfast, and then drove to school. First up today was 3-2 in period 2 and we sang the alphabet song, played Alphabet Bingo, wrote out our favourite things in preparation for next week’s lesson, and then did some alphabet hunt worksheets. Only a few kids actually moved onto the alphabet hunt worksheets as bingo took a lot longer than expected. They were back to being noisy today, so it was a bit of a rough lesson. 3-3 in period 3 and again we were only able to do bingo for the lesson. We did play it twice though. It was pretty cute because a lot of the kids were writing the letters in their names down as their bingo template. 3-1 was also just alright today, I think everyone loves bingo a little too much and gets a bit overexcited and hyper haha. We didn't get onto the alphabet hunt worksheets so I’ll just save them for next week.

Lunch with 5-2 today and it was also a bit of a quiet lunch, mainly cause they were showing last year’s 6th graders farewell assembly (the other grades sing songs and do other performances for the 6th graders, it’s pretty cute) so everyone was fixated on that. Cleaning time was relatively smooth, I just had to make sure the kids’ curling and skating didn’t get too out of hand! Even though the Winter Olympics has ended, the kids are still into all the different sports. Spent the spare 5th and 6th periods typing up the results of the 3rd graders’ favourite things in preparation for next week’s worksheets. Got off work on time at 16:00 and went home. Headed out again with dad for dinner at the nice yakiniku place! Had a lovely dinner, and then stopped at a convenience store on the way home to buy tomorrow’s breakfast.
