Chill Saturday

Finally got to sleep in today!! I was meeting up with a friend from NZ, and she had missed the bus to the train station, so we pushed back the meeting time to 12:00. Had a lovely sleep in till 10:00 before waking up and having a banana for breakfast. Went out to fuel up before heading out to the station to meet up with my friend. We went to have lunch at my favourite 回転寿司, Kura Sushi! Originally planned to have lunch at a café near the station, but when we got there, it was unfortunately closed. Sushi was nice though, and I won another prize today with the plates draw yay! After lunch we drove to Haruna since my friend is a huge Initial D fan. It was pretty cool though cause there was a lot of snow up there, and the lake was actually frozen over! A true winter wonderland. We spent some time up there taking photos and making snowmen. I finally had the time to make a snow Totoro! After we finished with Haruna we drove to the Daruma temple, and then back to the station/shopping mall area to have a mini shop, and dinner.
