Had a super relaxed Saturday today by sleeping in till 9:30am, then woke up and got started on editing my huge bunch of photos. Headed out at 17:15 for an enkai with the Tuesday badminton club, and it was so much fun! We played a lot of games which I thought were super great, and I wish I had found out about these games earlier when I had to think of so many team building/ice breaker games for church events before. The first game was passing a rubber band on a pocky stick, so you had to hold the pocky stick in your mouth, and pass the rubber band to each other, and the fastest team wins (our team won that one yay)! The next game was called ニアーニアー12センチ and I thought this was a genius game – basically we’re all given long strips of paper, and have to tear it at what we think is 12cm, and the person whose strip of paper measures closest to 12cm wins! We actually had 2 people tonight whose strips of paper measured EXACTLY 12cm! It was crazy. The last game was very fun too, and I’d seen it played before on variety shows actually. I can’t remember the Japanese name for it because they were telling us “MATCH FEELINGS MATCH FEELINGS” in English over and over again. The game is basically this – we all got given paper and pen, and we would be told a category (e.g. favourite fruit), and we all have to write what we think other people in the group will write! Then we all reveal what we wrote, and if you get matched then you would get points (e.g. you wrote apple and 2 other people wrote apple, so you each would get 3 points)! All in all a great night, and I’m so glad I went. We all got little Disney cups at the end too!
