Typhoon Weekend...again... ;___;

Another typhoon this weekend meaning it was impossible to go out to see any autumn leaves again. Although I had originally planned to go to Haruna to see the autumn leaves, since they’re apparently peaking now, we had to change plans instead. Went to the new shopping mall OPA/Aeon right outside Takasaki Station at 11:00am! Met up with some other ALT friends and explored the mall. Since it was newly built it was very nice and new, and plenty of shops. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be! 8 floors in total with many shops on each one. Managed to find a scarf I liked, and also got some more heattech at uniqlo and a really cute beanie. We had lunch back in the station shopping mall since the lines at OPA’s restaurant floor were way too long. Had the ricotta pancakes at Bedford Market again since I was craving them. After that we went to spin the ball thingy (a special they were doing – you get stamps at the different malls if you buy stuff) and I actually won something!!!!!! I have never won in any sort of similar thing like this before so it was very exciting. It was a ¥5000 voucher you could use at OPA or the station mall, so I used it to buy a handbag from Samantha Thavasa – I have always wanted one of their handbags, so it was good to finally be able to buy it a discounted price with the voucher! Drove home afterwards, video called with some NZ friends, and had my tofu mushroom don leftovers for dinner.
