Mountain Day!

Today is a public holiday Mountain Day! So that means no school/work! I slept in super late till 11:00am before waking up properly and cooking myself yakisoba for breakfast/lunch!

I finally headed out for a little cycle around the neighborhood at 15:00. Went to the supermarket to throw away my recycling, and then to a drugstore to get some cosmetics and sunscreen. The last stop was Daiso to get some miscellaneous things for home!

Cycled back home and my cash card post arrived at 18:30! They had actually tried to deliver it on the 9th when I was away at the Gunma Orientation, so they leave a little “Undelivered Item Notice” slip, and you just call the number back or apply online for your package to be redelivered to you. Although I had selected the 19:00~21:00 time slot, they came half an hour early! So I guess for the future if you’re expecting a parcel, just be at home to receive it.

The weather was super lovely and cool today – but also cloudy. I hope that doesn't mean there’ll be bad weather tomorrow because it’s the Maebashi fireworks!
